I saw this movie in the last few days and it is just fabulous. With its retro opening credits, title cards and sumptuous black-and-white cinematography, the director, Hazanavicius strives to replicate the look and feel of the silent era. The plot is brilliant, but of course I also had an eye on the fashion and I was not dissapointed. Bernice Bejo, who plays the lead female, Peppy Miller, is cast wearing some gorgeous fashion of the 1920′s. Her various hats are stunning and she and the creators do the era proud.
